Blogging is like having an electronic diary…

Today in class I learned how to change my blog site design. I choose the cool photo you see at the beginning by Ed Merritt. I love traveling so it suits my fancy (it caught my eye right away). I like it a bunch! I also appreciate Mr. Thornley’s philosophy on grading. I think I’ll adopt it for my class. He says, “50/100 is still an F, why give a student zero?” Then one of my classmates said, “yeah, I personally got a zero on an assignment once and it ‘IS’ hard to recover your grade from zero.”

So, to motivate my students to do their best work, without discouragement like, “There’s no way recover from zero so why try?”, I see how 50/100 gets the point across- do the work child! -without penalizing them terribly.
